The Silesia Miners are an American football team in Katowice, Silesia, Poland. They play in the Polish American Football League.

History

The team was founded in April 2006. In 2009 they won the final of the Polish American Football League against The Crew Wrocław.[1] After earning the team has been honored with the title "Team of the month" in November 2009 by the International Federation of American Football.[2]
